So it begins....the greatest time of the year.

It all starts tonight and there are some intriguing games to watch.

Rhode Island @ Central Michigan - Always good to know what's going on with our chief rival. Should be an easy game for the Chips but they always seem to come out flat in their season openers against FCS opponents. Btw, Rhode Island's HC is in his 4th season there, has a 4-30 record, and only has 10 seniors in their entire 2-deep. How does this guy still have a job?

Buffalo at Minnesota - PJ Fleck vs a familiar Buffalo squad. We face Buffalo later in the year, so it wouldn't hurt to take a peek at what they look like this year. It's a must-win year for Lance Leipold.

Elon @ Toledo - The media has already crowned Toledo the MAC champions this year (just like every other year), and we'll get our first look at them tonight. As for Elon...Rhode Island won 2 games last year, and one of those games was against Elon. Elon lost by 30 points. They are not a good team. This one should be a snoozer.

All the Vegas money is pouring in on Buffalo tonight. The game opened Minnesota -31 and is now in the 23.5-24 range. I'm honestly not sure if this is folks thinking Buffalo is better than advertised, or if its skepticism regarding PJ and the turmoil the Minnesota team has been through in the last year. Either way it's going to be an interesting contest.
I would take Minnesota giving 24 points. Buffalo is a MAC East bottom feeder. Would obviously like to see a close game or an upset, but I think Minnesota rolls at home. Might be a 3 TD gap at halftime.
On the surface, I tend to agree with you. Historically though, these huge line moves have a habit of being right. We'll know in a few hours.
Just turned it on. No pressure, pass over the middle between 4 defenders for 61yd TD. Too easy. Minn 7 Buff 0
Buffalo had tied it up but Minnesota just scored to go up 14 - 7, still in the first (0:43). This will be a blowout by the looks of it.
Buffalo Should've completed that double reverse flea flicker bomb for 50 yds. Bad hands by the WR. The QB is from norton Shores Mi
If the Buffalo corner was looking for the ball he would've had the INT instead of going for the hit. Now Minn is inside the 10 looking to go up 14 before the half

Nope. Ill advised soft toss to the side of the endzone for an INT. Buffalo only down 7 with 1:34 left in the half
Closer than I thought. Go da Bulls.
Halftime scores:

CMU - 13
RI - 0

Toledo - 19
Elon - 7

Minny-soda - 14
Buffalo - 7
How about those Hoosiers up early 7-3. Not MAC play but would be a huuuuuge upset tonight.

Hell of a catch to make it 14-6. Go Hoosiers.
IU's been in command even more than the score shows. Could've had another TD if not for the tipped pass INT.

Edit: Of course as soon as I say that, OSU catches some fire.

This Indiana WR pulled an Odell Beckham. Twice. 14-6
Buffalo hanging around. Just needs to put together a drive.

Toledo turning it into rout.

The other two could be nailbiters.
Buffalo been really solid on D, but they've gotta be getting gassed. Offense can't get a first down.

Other future opponent game: Idaho down 3-0 to Sacramento State, second quarter.
Sheesh. I'm watching the IU game and Kirk Herbstreit just said "Fleck is rowing the boat big time tonight, I'm sure." I look here and its 14-7 in the 4th. 03-lmfao
OSU will win 48-14
