Not surprising, Illinois is the one island for the coastal fringe party.

IL Gov to Sign Sanctuary State Legislation and Lose His Conservative Base

who would conservatives vote for, someone more leftist? Looks to me he wants another term. It is a Blue state, nothing gets done unless Dems want it to happen.
The only reason that state is still afloat is because of the republican governor. Put a libturd in there and see how quickly it goes to hell.
A red state?
I think both party had their share of corrupt politicians in that state since they had a number of a share of politicians going to prison or jailed.

Just an FYI...

I've already call Sen. Bob Corker's (R-TN) office to tell them I will work tirelessly to defeat him in the primary. I also told his office that if he wins the primary I will vote for the Democrat. Period.

I don't know how many other conservatives feel similarly, but I'm tired of establishment leftist RINOs begging for our votes and then disregarding OUR wishes after the election.
As if that whole state wasn't on the brink of insolvency already he now risks losing federal funds? Have I got that right?

They need to know these things.

I saw him interviewed. No wonder Illinois is imploding. What a dumb a
He's doing it because of the finances.

It costs states a lot of money to hold illegals.

That said, he should find another way of saving money--not refusing to keep criminals off the street.

Pretty much.

When a state is hovering at junk bond status, its not exactly the smartest move.

In Governership only, sad to say.

Yeah it would've been quite the feat to lose after the Blagojevich stuff and the whole debacle of the Quinn administration, even in Illinois.
hehe

That may be the goal. By losing federal funds, Illinois will be forced to address their pension issues sooner. That may be my guess.

To be fair, the state is red in most of the counties not attached to Chicagoland.
