I'm sorry Georgia Southern fans, but it appears you're still slated to do battle with the entire American Athletic Conference in the Cure Bowl...
Sorry? Any bowl would be an improvement! Especially one so close by in the place where dreams come true. I would welcome the opportunity to show how overrated most of the AAC is!
I guess we only have four official tie ins but for whats it worth I think Idaho gets back to a bowl.
I appreciate your enthusiasm but even with the mighty option making a comeback, it's going to be awfully hard to get the offense going when you're playing 12 defenses at once lol

No we still have 5 out in Zona--they're just too lazy to double check (they also still think we have a tie in with the Frisco Bowl which at last check I'm pretty sure is an "at large" or "TBD" Conference tie in

I think this is the year Vandals take that Zona bowl spot (unless we once again do some back room dealings and send them back to Boise)
Yes we will definitely be bowling as long as Linehan can stay healthy. We have a better team this year and i think we improve to 10-2 with loses to @mizzou and @Troy. We beat appst. at home

We'll be getting that sweet revenge from 2015 05-stirthepot
I might even come down to watch that game.. also i hope you guys stomp on Boise JC first game.. that would make this year even better. Here in Idaho (Boise) they are thinking this is a gimme game for them.
I definitely want to win the conf. but I would like to go to the Camellia Bowl.

Defense is way better and faster this year
RamblinRedWolf was poking fun at Ga So but I went to the Cure Bowl and was impressed. Great location, fun for the team, excellent CBS broadcast, good tailgating, etc. I'd be happy to go back!
I wish Troy could play in the Camellia Bowl. I feel like that may never happen, since Troy is just 45 minutes from Montgomery. It would be a day trip for many fans. The City of Montgomery probably wants teams that will fill up hotels better...

We've had that same discussion before when it comes to South and the Dollar General Bowl. Camelia especially has it difficult because they know that App, state, and Georgia Southern would all easily fill the stadium just as easily as Troy fans would, and would buy a lot more hotel rooms.

I've always said that Troy makes the most sense in New Orleans, but the Cajuns have to win fewer than 6 games for that to happen.

Easy fix, make it a midnight kickoff.
Looks like App fans will have the opportunity to drink New Orleans dry.

Challenge accepted.

Please don't make me try that again. I still need an MRI.

In that case, 04-cheers
