This story highlights a couple local guys. It is a nice update. If Childress would be dominant this year, the D-Line could be pretty good. A bunch of young guys played last year. As injury ridden as the defense was, it should help this year.
Work with a family member, he works extremely hard, is competitive, wants to be a great player. Wish him all the best, local players are fun to watch develop from high school thru college. When/who was Rossfords last D1 footballer?

I would hope there has been someone since Joe Stalma. He was at Rossford when I was at Clay. He and John O'Brock (Lake) were giants long before the size of these guys has now become common. If I remember correctly, Stalma was 6'6 and about 250 in high school as a sophomore. I believe he played both football and basketball at Cinci. I checked and couldn't see anything on his football career there, but pretty sure he did. Listed him as 6'8" on the one year he played BB.
