Anyone familiar with the layout on the location where the Sam Hunt concert will be?

I'm guessing it is in a large lot behind the Uptown area.
Will there be seating available or will everyone be standing up the whole time?

& how in the heck can we expect that many people to park in the area without having to park 2 miles away?

Just some questions from a non-BJCC concert ignorant person.
You have the location correct.

I was told they are allowing people to bring their own chairs but they may limit the height.
Good to know. Thanks.

Seems like a disaster in the making for parking though but as long as the BJCC doesn't have a deer expo or some other big event at the same time maybe it will be manageable.
They've done other events like this in the same area and it works. Uber, Lyft, and the Magic City Connector https://maxtransit.org/routes/route-90-m...connector/ are options if you don't want to deal with parking around BJCC.
The BJCC arena holds like 20,000 and they regularly have multiple events at the same time. You may have to pay or walk a block or two but there will be enough parking
I thought about 17,000 or so for the BJCC but it may be closer to 20,000.

They did gate off the parking spots underneath the freeway though.

Outside of the Sheridan parking deck & the one on the backside of the BJCC are there any other parking decks?

Whatever the real number, the BJCC exists to handle large numbers of people. There is no way that this concert is going to have more people than would attend something at the arena and the exhibition hall at the same time, which is something that happens all the time. I remember concerts or the circus or whatever happening at the same time as the gun show or the home and garden show.

The BJCC has several decks, the under-interstate parking wasn't really all that much compared to a deck. According to their site, they have over 5,000 spaces + whatever on street + whatever other BPA decks are open at night https://www.bjcc.org/pdf/BJCC_Map.pdf

UAB should run a shuttle from campus over there. It would be a good practice run for how logistics should work for a new stadium. It'd be great to tailgate on campus and then just catch a bus over to the stadium
Is the field in between 11th & 12th Avenue & 22nd & 23rd Street?
Not too worried about parking. However, Uptown was packed before Eric Church earlier this year. Every restaurant was an hour-2 hour wait. If people are wanting to get dinner in that area beforehand I'd recommend calling for reservations.
I don't plan on eating anywhere close to there due to that reason as well as the steeper than dad with 3 kids in school prices.

Probably will do Full Moon in Fultondale.

That's my favorite Full Moon. Maybe because it's literally right by my house lol
