When I turned 18 years old (1959), I had to register for the "draft". The conscription office was on the second floor in the Farley Building.

I think the Police Band picture was taken in front of Temple Bethel on Highland Ave. If so, the house next to it was the Jack Saxton Dance Studio later demolished for parking for the Temple and the new Highland Ave. Britling Cafeteria.
