Good stuff!
Very nice!
Not the best timing. Should've caught them while Golden was there. Now Right is reminding them how to play football.
Well done!!

SMU is triggered.
Nice Temple!
Great news for Temple!

I know that OCS is being drilled to all FBS schools but Temple is never going to be able to build an OCS that holds 60k+ seats, making it certain that a P5 opponent will never agree on a home and home with Temple at their OCS.

The question is, is leasing a game or two a year to play at the Linc to hold those games even a possibility? Might the city withhold any Temple games there or make it so expensive that it would make sense to play there? The city does have a reputation of being ruthless to Temple for some reason.

There is zero evidence that Temple won't be able to get P5 opponents in a home and home at an OCS.

If it's a 30K or 35K OCS? Perhaps no definitive evidence but not likely under those circumstances. More likely two for one.
Miami...eh, that's about as exciting as scheduling Colorado or Virginia these days. They've fallen a long way.

You're right, Temple should have signed a future contract with P5 powers Texas Tech, Kansas, and Vanderbilt like Houston has in 2021 and 2022. 07-coffee3
An OK series. Miami schedules home/home series with a lot of schools so this isn't that big of a deal. USF had a 6 year home/home with them and (sadly) only won 1 of them. Miami schedules Sun Belt teams to home/homes.

Tulane has been able to get home and homes with Georgia Tech, Ole Miss, Mississippi St. and I believe Wake Forest+Duke since moving OCS. Those are basically our bread and butter P5 matchups historically.

Also Oklahoma and KState to 2for1s. One makes sense and one is Kstate.

It's not exactly apples to oranges but moving OCS shouldn't totally prevent you from 1 for 1s. Especially if you don't build a HS stadium like ours.
im alway skeptical when you do the traveling first. It's a play that ultimately just turns into a pay game when the return visit gets bought out.

This has been South Carolina's MO with ECU....

Nice OOC schedule with ND, Rutgers, Maryland, Oklahoma, Miami, and BC on it. The Rutgers games will put over 40k in the LINC. Oklahoma should sell out the LINC like ND did and Penn St does. Miami should draw half decent with a lot of Northern Alumni in the Northeast. Maryland is a great regional game but I don't know how well they travel. They have a hard time getting fans to show up at home. BC doesn't travel well but it should be a good series anyway - the same with Duke. Grab some BB games with Duke if you can too. 04-cheers

Not to worry Temple will still be at the LINC 10 years from now. There hasn't been any news on the OCS stadium since the beginning of the year and then it was bad news with the local opposition and the city legislators. That fight will be going on years from now until everyone gets paid off. Temple is years away from an OCS with the politics, the planning stages, and then a couple of years to build the stadium if the project ever gets back on track. The whole project seems to have dried up and gone south since Temple fired their last president who appeared to be pushing the OCS while he was there. Any way good luck on the project. 07-coffee3
