Hannan's hearing is tomorrow (8/2). The record indicates he has a public defender. Don't know if that is still accurate or not, but it does not sound encouraging to me. We should know something more definitive on his status sometime tomorrow.

Devin Hannan, Tackle, one of the returning starters on an offensive line that's going to be critical to the success of any unproven QB or any running game.

It's almost reassuring he has a public defender. If he went to UNC he'd have a team of prestigious defense attorneys costing about $4mil each.

I suppose it's obvious, but my concern is that his representation will be less than it could or should be, and that's a valid concern. "Suspended indefinitely" could be substantially less than permanently if he gets the best possible outcome from this hearing.
In my job I have contact with plenty of folks in and around the legal system. I can assure you a PD and Commonwealth's Attorney, are only interested in clearing cases on their desk. He will plead to some lesser charge, probably a misdemeanor. Same with DW
Hannan's hearing has been continued until October 11.
