I was reading something on the conference board, and it looks like we're now in the top half of the conference academically (according to USNWR, at least). We've escaped "Tier II" or "Rank Not Published" or whatever they're calling it now.

This is good news, in my opinion. Makes me feel like Rodney may have some clue as to how to improve the university in an overall sense, even if we can't escape conference realignment hell.

Under Aunt Martha, we admitted anyone with a pulse in a sheer grab for numbers. One fall they even counted the Girls State attendees from the previous summer as enrollees.

It was worse under Thames (counting students).
Bennett is tracking well, making moves in line with national best practices.
