Top 4 sounds right. The rest can probably be however.

Maybe rank Toledo over Arkansas #1.

Too bad it didn't go back one more year. Ohio's win over Penn St following the Sandusky break definitely top 3.

Article mentions Ball St being 10-3 in 2013. Guess I forgot Ball St was that good not that long ago.

How would Purdue fare in the MAC 2013 - 2017?
I was on the stadium when NIU beat Alabama back in the day, fun stuff....

Probably that, Toledo's win over Michigan, and Ohio's win over Penn St probably the best since 2000.
A nice list going back to just 2013.

MAC should get power conference consideration.

Toledo's absolute drubbing of Penn State at Penn St. in 2000 should make the cut as well.

Nice! Nothing beats being the true underdog (mid-major) and beating the so-called "Power 5" schools.

Save the controversy, CMU over OK St. has to be #1 just because they finished #11 in the country. Not sure in recent memory how many teams lost to a MAC team but finished the season in the top 25.

In terms of impact, I would say Toledo beating Michigan in 2008 was big because while everyone wants to say Michigan was bad, I'm fairly certain Toledo was terrible that year. And it is Michigan after all.

Ball State in 2013 has to be one of the most forgotten MAC teams then, I'm shocked they went 10-3 only a few years back.
was that the 2003 MAC giant killer day?

Marshall over Kansas State (#6)
NIU over Alabama in Tuscaloosa
Toledo over Pittsburgh (#9)

Alabama was ranked #21 when NIU beat them in 2003.

Oh, and look who I found a quote from about that particular game:

Quote:P.J. FLECK (WR)

"This is a huge win for our players and for our team, but this is also just another win for our season, this is number three. This is just another feather in Coach Novak's hat."
