When will we hear who the freshmen on the team are .We are going to need a boat load of them we lost 11 players so should need 9 at least for replacements
Its amazing to me that players can get verbally recruited from U18 teams I.E victory Honda, when they haven't even played juniors yet, how can they know they will be even ready to play D1 NCAA hockey??
Also, Moe, does any of those recruits stand out on that list for WMU??

True, they have no idea who will or will not develop. Hell, some of these kids are being committed to at 13-14 years old. So, they commit to a bunch of kids, some will actually make it to the school, others will be told they have no place for them. But, it goes both ways, kids commit to schools and change their minds too, if they feel a better offer is available from another school or maybe league like the OHL.

Whole thing is a crap shoot!
That spread sheet don,t tell us crap. It just tells us who was once committed and with all the extra players not coming back we will a bunch. Two and a half weeks before players have to be there and no nothing on the web page .
fwds: Franke, Washe, Passolt, Rueschhoff........ D: Vance

this is what I know as of today

Any thoughts on who will be the best players in this freshman class?
I would think Frank , Passalt and Washe. Washe has the most potential but fell apart after christmas last year but the talent is there.
We are going to have to rely on players from last year taking a step forward on their development this year. Denver will be tops again and a step ahead of every one. Omaha lost a couple only and St Could basically lost nothing. Miami really only lost their captain but he was really strong. Minn D was gutted just like us, Und lost three main ones but have strong recruiting class coming in, and CC will be the same as the last while. They have problems recruiting top end talent so will have a problem creating offence
My ranking are #1 Denver #2 St Cloud #3 UND #4 Omaha #5Minn D #6 Western M #7 Miami #8 CC
5,6,7 are all very close and inter changeable
imo of course
