Name one reason to vote for a democrat.
Instant gratification. Short term gain. People tellin' ya they feel your pain.
Anything positive? Anything
Many reasons!

You're dumb and don't want to work hard
You enjoy telling others how they should behave, speak, and think
You have to virtue signal to others in your social group
You unironically practice climate change religion with a side of savior narrative
You have tremendous guilt over your race, class, history or other alphabet "privilege"
You want to bang the weak willed but hot-ass feminazi / beta male you met at ukulele lessons
You're still upset you didn't get a Participation Trophy
You think a person's gender is fluid, sometime on an hourly basis, but their sexual preference is permanently fixed
You think every man is a potential rapist but you are fine with males sharing a locker room with women
You believe owning a gun gives flyover hillbillies and the police a license to kill minorities
You think throwing millions of dollars at all problems will solve all things
You think you should be taken seriously when you wear a pink twat hat
You believe Islam is a religion of peace but Christians are intolerant hatey hate haters
You think free healthcare is free.
And finally, you're angry at Mommy and still full of unresolved Daddy issues

See, lots of reasons to vote for a Democrat
you left out "relative to developing a fundamental/nationwide economic platform"....

all those dipshites wanna do is poo on relevant topics....

dems no longer have the capacity for the cavity of the cavern that has been dug by both sides....

so many SHOULD PRAY he succeeds...

but they won't....
Come on democrats. One reason
The Democratic Party was a damn fine party when they were the party of JFK. While I thought FDR was further left than JFK and I question how he handled the Great Depression plus social security, he would be a moderate today. They need to go back to the party of JFK. That party had substance and had a serious response to the GOP views. I think it's safe to say that a number of "conservatives" who post here today would actually be Dems today if the party was focused on the economic health of working Americans and believed in a strong manufacturing/technological base as a foundation for our economy today.

Because the Republican in office was too weak within his own administration (McCrory). That's the only reason I can think of right now.

Right now Democrats are too passionately progressive. If there's anything we don't need leading good government astray, it's passion. It's good to question healthcare, equality, the amount we spend on the military, how nationalism can go bad, etc. It's bad to go out there with one solution and shout it from the mountaintops like it's the automatic answer.

Now I can't think of a reason to vote for a Republican either, but that may be a subject for another thread.

That's your opinion. I tend to be more interested in state and local politics, where the division of evil isn't always consistent with what's going on in federal politics.

...as opposed to Demoncratic honesty. That's an oxymoron, like Army Intelligence. J/K.
