Can you provide a link to that exact quote - the one where he is going to wait and see how we do in conference play? I must have missed it. I heard him say he was waiting to see how we look and would probably wait until mid-season to decide. But I never heard him say winning in conference was a criteria. But if he said it so many places, someone should have the link.

Lomax didn't mention conference play specifically in print. So no there's nothing in the CA that says he would wait until conference play is over. The original poster that mentioned it said he heard it on radio. Anyone have a link to that day's show?
