College Football's Top 100 Players of 2017

42. Richie James, WR, Middle Tennessee
Defenses from Alabama to Hawai’i have been confounded by James once he slips into the secondary and gets enough room to pull out a video-game juke. The 5’9”, 171-pound speedster finished third in the nation in receptions, fourth in receiving yards and 10th in all-purpose yards as a sophomore, and over two seasons he already has more than 3,000 all-purpose yards to his name. Few offenses put up more reliably eye-popping numbers than Middle Tennessee’s quick-strike spread, and as this year’s primary playmaker, James will be asked to keep churning out the highlights.

Of course this list also says that the Florida kicker is better than any other football player in this conference.
That is pretty impressive to be at 42 considering all the bias against G5 schools. I did not look at the list completely, did any other CUSA players make it?

Not that I saw. Highest G5 is Ed Oliver from Houston at #4. #1 went to an FSU player I've never heard of.
