Can't really blame them for putting Idaho ahead of Troy. I think Troy's better, but Idaho will surprise a lot of people again this year. It will not be an easy game in Troy this year.
I think Troy kind of got the shaft with that low of a ranking. While I agree Idaho will be tough I do not see them being on Troy's level quite yet. I'm starting to get nervous that they left App out which would be absolutely insane. If they did include us, they need to realize we are not that much better than the rest of our conference. As the Donald would say, this has the looks of #FakeNews.

I think your defense is carrying the weight of these high marks. It was almost superhuman what you guys did in the SBC on defense. APP's defense held opponents to half of what SBC conference leaders have for the last five years. 11 points a game, and the nearest in that five year span was 18ppg. You have to go back to Troy 2008 to get closer with 16ppg. Disgusting.
That and what APP did at Tennessee. What Troy did at Clemson was also remarkable, and I think that's why you see APP and Troy as #1 and #2 in most of the preseason publications.
Any preseason ranking is fakenews..... I just wanted to give folks another daily thing to check if they feel so inclined.
