I'm not against playing an FCS team each year, but only 1.

Why did you get rid of this game? Was it moved to another year. If you would have won your OOC games, you would have instantly shot up into top 15 or so.

We didn't get rid of it, SC did. They bought us out.

We had our worst team since JT was here last season and still would have beaten South Carolina if not for a turnover brigade.

Buying games makes it easier to keep 6-7 games on the schedule. I don't think you guys got the revenue to buy FBS games. We sold a game to Liberty for 1.3 million so I'm sure we'd be happy to come to Dowdy for the same. I"d guess you're paying Gardner Webb 400K

Still a solid non-conference schedule. And while I understand losing the USC game is a loss even I think that trying to take on VaTech, NC State, and South Carolina all at once may be a bit much.

That is ridiculous. Give me 9 wins every year. State and VT along with our AAC is a fine schedule. During BSU's run they played a crap schedule every year and sure accomplished more than we did getting beat up going 1-3 every year in OOC.

If we had scheduling like this in Holtz's days we would've had 11-12 wins back to back years.

I disagree...9-3 get's us an annual bowl and maybe even a top 25 ranking. Also probably gets us in the conference championship game.
