Brown, a 6'7 SF committed to Wichita State over Iowa State and Arkansas.
Brown is possibly reclassifying to 2017. An ESPN 4*/Rivals 3* from Tennessee is a high motor guy who will fit well in Coach Marshall's system.

I'm pretty excited about this one. More so if he finishes up and joins us in the fall. With Zach in his final year and Duff being a JR that could have options, it'll be nice to have him in the system and developing under them. Reading what he had to say, he actually sounds quite a bit like Zach. Big, strong, tough nosed and loves to D up. Hopefully he doesn't struggle as much on O as Zach has at times.
But he's definitely a Marshall type of guy.
Solid get. A Zach Brown with better offense would be ok in my book.
If he reclassifies, will they wear initials on their nameplates? Z. Brown and R. Brown

Nope. It will be a land of confusion.
He has a buddy who's played with him at the high school and AAU levels. Top 100 player by Rivals and 247. 2 crystal balls popped up yesterday for WSU.

The Memphis to Wichita pipeline is starting to gain some momentum.
Looks a lot like a "Just get me the hell out of Memphis" pipeline.
Hey, at least Tubby can now say he keeps the local Memphis talent in the AAC.
Pretty sure I saw a tweet from his buddy congratulating him on getting out of the city and said he was next...
There's a lot of reasons why a parent would like to see their son leave their hometown... especially when it's Memphis. Expect a lot of big-time talent to leave recruiting hotbeds in the south for the safety of Wichita, Kansas. It also doesn't hurt that they would be playing for the winningest (and cleanest) basketball program over the last half-decade or so. This conference move may turn out to be HUGE for reasons we never imagined.

Well, it would look better for you if we are as we continue providing scholarships for people from your home base.
I'm excited about this kid. Not that I expect him to be a superstar, but I really do think he can be a Zach Brown/Rashard Kelly type of guy that'll bring a lot of toughness to the floor.
I'm looking forward to seeing what he can do. He appeared to be super athletic in the exhibition games this year and supposedly Kerry has already put 25 pounds on him.
When I read about the 25 pounds I got a little excited. Not quite to the level of Cold grabbing a towel excitement, but pretty excited.
