Things that make you go hmmmmm .....
Thanks for posting. This should generate some discussion - I'm locked into baseball right now though. A couple of quick thoughts ..
... does Duke lose a lot? That seems awfully low.
... will Clemson really be able to replace all they lost and maintain their spot atop the conference?
... will Miami realize the hype this year, or are they still a year away from truly challenging for the conference crown?
NC State could be a surprise this season.
And I'm hoping that my Cards are pleasantly surprised with a new O-Line coach immediately producing results.
Some one's opinion. But wait until they play the games, then we can verify this list.
That list seems as good as any. If I had to pick one team to question it would probably be NC State. I'm not convinced yet they are that good. I'd probably put them neck and neck with Carolina.

They are one of the sexy picks for a breakout team this year. They had lots close losses last year save for Louisville.
We'll see about them...I tend to think they'll win 7 or 8 games.
BC is too low. UNC is too high.

BC is tough to figure... generally above average linemen and below average speed guys

Last year it was the reverse. Decent skill position players (except in the secondary) and a mediocre OL.
Georgia Tech will go 9-3 with a Bowl win 10-3
NCSU is too high. They have to prove they can win in the conference first.

That's pretty high for Clemson. That's saying they beat Auburn, U of L in Louisville, and VT in Blacksburg. I think they will lose to FSU and at least one of those three.
BC is going to be a lot better than everyone thinks. They started to put it all together at the end of the season and won 3 straight, including their bowl game.

If your prediction came true...likely Duke and/or BC could sneak into a bowl game. One less bowl game in 17-18 than 16-17 so two 5-7 teams likely won't get that opportunity in 17-18.
