New York is not good per capita but overall sheer numbers is not terrible as some would have us to believe, being ranked #25 out of the 50 states. Also surprised to see Louisianna with the highest number of recruits per capita. There are 3 ACC states in top 10 being Florida,Georgia and Pa with NC and Vir. at #11 and 12:

I knew about Louisiana from living here. LSU sits on top of a talent gold mine.

If an LSU coach cannot win ten games a year just on local talent, born/bred to be Tigahs, then he is not that good.

South LA has more per capita NFL players than anywhere else in the nation.

That's part of the reason why I like Tulane games. Nola has also been the site of some great Syracuse memories.
