Does anyone know when single game tickets go on sale?

I am moving out of HR the first week of September but I still want to get 5 tickets the Albany game on the 2nd.

Went by the ticket window at the stadium and they said they only sell tickets on gameday (wonder why it's open every day then).

Generally single game tickets will only go on sale after the student tickets are released and students given an opportunity to pick up. Because every game sells out they don't offer single tix to general public until close to gameday, normally within the week of the game. You can buy them online once released and reserve at willcall... or print at home.
There are some tickets available on stubhub, but they aren't cheap.

If we don't sell out season tickets, they may put tickets on sale earlier. The Hampton game last year went on sale on August 14th.

I would sell you mine at face price, but I only have four. PM if you are interested.
Speaking of tickets, weren't we supposed to have our hoops renewals mailed in June?

Not sure but I haven't received anything regarding hoops yet.
Neither have I
Basketball renewals are coming soon. Had to wait on a few things to get confirmed with the basketball schedule before putting the renewals together. Should get them in the next week or two.

Thanks for the info. Will that affect the reseating schedule previously published?
Single game tickets are best purchased during the two weeks before a game from StubHub. Excellent seats (up to four) can be had, usually for face value and often with a lot pass included.
In any event a single game lot pass can be separately had for face value or less.

This was the primary reason for the disintegration of the season ticket waiting list.
We will try to avoid shifting the reseating schedule. If we have to we will shorten the timeframe to get your renewal back to us, to stay on schedule for the reseating appts.

Once again, THANKS!

That is disappointing. It’s bad enough it is a fairly short turnaround from invoice to payment due date. Shortening that already compact time period to not hose up the reseating dates is not the best way to take care of the base.
I don't really see the issue with it. Don't you already know if you are going to be paying for it or not?
^ rare time I actually agree with J Giles. You should already know by now what you are doing as far as bball goes.

I do but it’s still a pain point. I have had issues with the time frame for well ever. At minimum a three month period from invoice to payment due would be ideal. I would even advocate for Athletics to allow for a longer payment plan for football and basketball ticket holders similar to what ODAF does. Lump both tickets into one payment and stretch it out over eight or ten months. I’m not sure if colleges do that but most of the Big Four sports do something like that for their single sport season tickets. It would just be another column in Excel.

Seems like personally, you could have been preparing over the past few months? What company is going to send you an invoice and not expect payment for 3 months? Payment plans are fine, but you can do that yourself. This just seems like a strange criticism to me.

Most other sporting enterprises that I have had season tickets with have given you threeish months (Or longer. The Admirals would routinely put renewal info out at the end of the regular season.) to pay up. ODU has always been late to invoice and quick to expect payment IMHO. Compared to a pro sports or other ticket subscription package that renews year over year it just seems small time and that they could be doing a better job.
It has to do with knowing the number of home games in order to build the season ticket into the ticket system. With football you know the number of home games many months, if not years, in advance. Same for pro sports. Not the same for college basketball.

Gets messy when you set a price based on ?? games and you spread the cost of the season ticket across ?? games in the ticket system, then if you have a late addition or subtraction on the schedule its very difficult to reverse course if you've already rolled everything over into the accounts of current season ticket holders.

It's also handy to know how many games are going to be on the season ticket when the price is set. Always good to give season ticket holders a discount versus buying at the window.
