I spent 10 minutes reading a thread with two posters willfully sticking their heads in the stand and putting fingers in their ears shouting, "Nyah Nyah Nyah Nyah!" At the top of their lungs.

Civil discourse is an exchange of ideas and thoughts. You don't have to agree with the other side, but please listen to their argument.

If you don't agree, politely state so and then move on.

I am a Taurus and even I was impressed with the willful ignorance and stubbornness two posters exemplified in that thread.

If you don't want to engage in discourse, please don't post.

You're going to have a hard time finding a forum that discusses politics with civil give and take exchanges. This doesn't happen in real life, so i think it won't always happen here. There are plenty of good threads where it happens. Just avoid the ones you don't like.
