If you had to pick 3 favorite moments/plays/games from your team's season as well as 3 least favorite what would they be:

For me (USM) the favorites would be:
1 - Taylor Braley's walkoff HR to beat Charlotte in the conference tournament
2 - back to back walkoff wins on Saturday and Sunday to beat FAU
3 - 14 game winning streak to end the regular season

and least favorites:
1 - losing back to back home game vs Ms State to lose our home regional
2 - losing to Ole Miss on an intentional walk wild pitch
3 - tie between losing to UTSA in conference tourney after sweeping them less than a week before; in the tourney loss our pitcher attempting to pick a runner off 1st when the only runner on base was on 3rd
Tech

Favorites
1. Beating Arkansas
2. Beating Mississippi State
3. Walking-off ULL despite ULL umps in an 14(?) inning marathon.
Honorable mention: beating McNeese in similar walk-off fashion but in 9 innings to seemingly break the slump AND SHUT UP THE IDIOT WITH THE MCNEESE COWBELL

Worst
1. Not making the NCAAs
2. 2 and out in the C-USA tourney
3. Getting my hopes up after a 15-2 start.
1. Coming from the six-seed to win the conference tourney (with a walk-off RBI against arch rival USM) , extending our NCAA streak to 23 seasons (and possibly bumping Miami from the tournament - moving us up to 3rd longest such streak)

That really should be enough right there -- since that all seemed so far out of reach well past mid season.

But you asked for 3, so...
2. Beating UofH to reclaim the Silver Glove trophy

3. Sweeping WKU to get out of last place (from 4-11). Once we showed a pulse and won a series things finally started to gel.

Worst 3:

1. We're spoiled. Ever since we made our first Omaha trip we could tell that every season *could* bring a title. So other than 2003, our biggest disappointment is going home without a national title. Being eliminated by LSU for the second straight year, and for at least the 4th time in this magical run, hurts the most.

2. Errors and walks. At its worst, those were the defining characteristics of the 2017 Owls. When at our best we eliminated those mistakes and excelled. But they were our Achilles all year.

3. Not being in the at-large calculus for the first time since 1996. Also disappointed that CUSA didn't get 3 or even 4 berths, as well as the conference played OOC all year.
Best - second half of the season.

Worst- First half of the season.
For FAU, the lowlights have to be the three losses to the very average University of Miami squad, which was having a down year. We should have taken two of those based on the form alone.

My highlights/low points are essentially the same as USM99. However, an honorable mention highlight would be seeing Rice come back and get a return match with USM for the Conference Tournament title. Hope we do it again next year for the third year in a row. With a different result of course and with a national seed on the line again, but this time for whoever is the winner of that game.

Works for me. It's been the final now 5 of the last 9 years. But we really need to meet in Omaha to truly settle it.

(We'll both have to be regional hosts for that to happen, since they like to shoehorn us into the same supers bracket)
My lists For Charlotte:

Best 3
1. Opening the season with a home series win over WVU.
2. Colton Laws pitching a 4 hit shutout (perfect into the 7th) and breaking a C-USA Tourney K record in the W over UTSA in the Tourney.
3. Road wins over Wake Forest (when they were Top 20), NC State (when they were Top 10), and East Carolina (when they were Top 10).
04-cheers

Worst 3
1. Watching our bullpen implode against USM when we were 5 outs away from going to the C-USA Championship game (and possibly getting an at-large berth).
2. Watching our bullpen implode against FAU, giving up a 9 run lead. (lots of bullpen implosions this season)
3. Losing to NC A&T twice.
