that's plausible....Colt has struggled a bit in his last two starts and Keys has tossed some quality innings in succession lately...
Berry has more than one option tomorrow in game 1....

When didn't Colt struggle against Rice? He dominated them until the rain delay.

Smith struggled in a start against UTSA and then he struggled after an hour-plus rain delay in his second start in five days...so bump him out of the rotation for Keys who threw well in mop-up and was solid against Rice? I like Keys in relief okay but I'm not ready to trust him starting.
I'm not super confident in Colt against State....but I think a lot more has to go right for Keys to have a solid start than for Colt.
Keys has made me eat my words some over the last couple of weeks. Hopefully again but I just don't see this decision.

I don't disagree...I'm guessing colt starts on a very short leash in g1
