Terrific news if it isn't fake!
Trump just couldn't get it up. Missed his target yet again. Say it ain't so.
This is great news. Shrink government and grow the private sector. Doing EXACTLY what he said he'd do!

It aint so. He exceeded the target by about 70,000 jobs. Learn how to read and comprehend.

He exceeded? What did trump do to add these jobs?
The jobs report looks good only because so many people stopped looking for jobs. Or have had to settle for part time jobs.

That's what the conservatives told us for years. 05-stirthepot

No... that's the unemployment rate/labor participation rate. It's like you're not even trying.

Obama's jobs were mostly part-time, temporary positions. A large part of that was because of the Obamacare albatross weighing down the US economy. Trump has set us on a positive path where the US Government is business-friendly, and gets the hell out of the way.

Actually, although we are seeing job growth, it is less than we saw the year before. So even as Trump and others point to these numbers and brag, it's actually fake news because it is less growth than the previous year.

He exceeded? What did trump do to add these jobs?

1. Stare at his executive actions, most which undid an Obama executive action

2. The sentiment of where he will be taking the country (no Obamacare, tax reform)

3. Killing off of the EPA

I can go on if you need me to. But will only do so after you evaluate what I already have and let me know you now understand. No need for me to throw more at you if yo cant even see the obvious.

No, we said that when the liberals would tout the phony unemployment percentage......that's the number affected by folks stopping looking for work.

Actual more folks getting a job is different and you know it.

While the number certainly appears to be good and any increase of jobs is good. I temper any good feelings by wondering if the number will get revised down and not knowing what type/pay these new jobs are. If it's 250K more fast food workers it's not as impressive than 250K good paying jobs.

I'm sure a more detailed breakdown will come up later.....

Wrong...I just debunked that in the other thread. That Harvard study was from 2005 to 2015 and it was only on the total jobs added in excess of all those lost. It was not on all the jobs added during the Obama administration.

And FWIW - trump has literally done dick to prop up this number. And in fact, it's actually less due to all the government jobs going away...although that's in all levels of government not just federal.

Let's not forget that we have had 80 straight months of job growth. Job growth that conservatives dismissed for 8 years until now.

The hypocrisy continues.

Where did obamas job growth come from?

He didn't create one single job remember?

We learned over the last 8 years that the President cannot create jobs.

At least that is what the conservatives said.

Has that suddenly changed?

May of last year, 173K private sector jobs added... May of this year saw 253 private sector jobs added.

The difference? Trump is shrinking government, which is what he said he would do.
