Dismissals for football and basketball are becoming a concern

I think football is fine. Every team has these issues. I would be more concerned if they whitewashed them.
04-cheers

For football? How so? You don't think a football team of over 100 players doesn't have a handful that dont return?

Your justification is because other teams have dismissals, ODU if fine if they have them too. There shouldnt be any dismissals at all! Kids need to do better

Do you think it make sense that out of 110 kids, there will be none kicked off the team or kids that don't get playing time and decide to transfer? In some instances, we are 9 or 10 deep at a position.

Yeah, this is just going to happen when you are dealing with that number of young men. Personally I think its worse in basketball for us. I think JJ has avg'd one per year (I could be wrong). That seems like a lot for a mid-major program. Maybe its on par with some of our other peers.

Colbert wasnt kicked. He left for personal reasons;

Just to be clear, our hands were tied on 3 of those. Pervier was mutual. Colbert was a personal issue.

I thought Pervier was too fat
Could have sworn it was a football thread ...

You think he was kicked off for being too fat?

+1
We could have kept this thread on track if we had just made our damn free throws

If I've said it once, I've said it a thousand times. We need to kick field goals UNDERHANDED if we ever want to get our percentages up.
Sort of back on track, but I just purchased my parking pass and 3 50 yd line seats for the UMASS game. Total cost was $69.
Here's an interesting writeup on Marshall. With several key transfers on the team this year, the Herd could be a more difficult challenge than I have thought up to now.
