If it's a normal day over there with no rain, you're probably in for very pleasant weather. You can usually bet on Athens being 5-10 degrees cooler than Statesboro in the fall.
Hopefully it ends up as good or better than our last ESPN game night in Athens
Cool - I was worried y'all be done too early because I heard that about 6:30 PM that day that they are putting a water tight lid on "stankford" stadium/ plugging all the entrances and exits and filling that sucker up with water!

I hate uga more than App. Plus our conference needs these type of name wins.
That is close as I can get in pulling for App. Thuga fans are already talking crap on the local radio about the game being a joke and they might skip or give tickets away it since so many other good games are on that day.

I'm ok with their smack... Tennessee smack was off the charts last year I remember vividly! If I heard little appy state one more time ...geez and look what happen we did everything but win.

Absolutely agree . . the SBC must have these kinds of wins against P5 Teams if we want the perception of the SBC to rise nationally.

I've been doing a little lurking on their boards and I'm actually a little surprised. Sure, there's the classic "Itz gonna be a Daaaaawwwwg feast!!!" posts, but there are a decent amount of humble fans. Certainly more than I expected.
they are playing nice right now, way too early for the maniacs to express their opinions about beating us by 70, or what a great insult it is for their dawgs to even have to play us, but when the game gets closer, we will start hearing about it. Tenn fans were not too bad, actually showed us a lot of respect, both before and after the game, but Miami fans have some of the biggest jerks in their fanbase. One guy bragged that on Friday night before the game, his only goal was to start a fist fight with a local, and after trying several time unsuccessfully, he finally got a student to take him up on his offer. Both got detained by Boone's finest, but we not charged or arrested. I have lived here in South Florida for 17 years, and I can tell you from first hand experience, there probably isn't a more deplorable fanbase than UM.
