Starting in elementary school, the mascot was the Seadogs. I went on the be a middle school Charger, high school Mariner, community college Bull Dog, ECU Pirate and I teach at a high school that is the Pirates. I have no knowledge of any other school being the Seadogs. What were your mascots over the course of your education and do you consider any of them to be unique?
Whitecaps (Galveston College) is rare.
My high school is probably one of very few across all levels of sport to have two nicknames.
K-2nd - no mascot
3rd - Cardinals
4th-5th - Scottish Terriers
6th-8th - Dolphins
9th-12th - Rangers
Undergrad - Yellowjackets
Grad - no mascot
1965 Little League in Atlanta..... "Crackers".... 1966 "Bullets"
Dolphins
Rhinos
Big Red
Cougars
Spady Cardinals (elem)
Carver Eagles (middle)
Atlantic Eagles (high)
Sanderson Spartans (high)
ECU Pirates

Nothing too unique.
K - I went to K before it was mandatory so mine was private. Joyland. No nickname but it was down the street from Graceland and Elvis would bring popsicles.
Elem - private was the Saints / Public was the Broncos
JHS - the Chiefs
HS - the Chiefs
College - THE Tigers

My favortie though is - the Tarpon High School Spongers (yes, as in a sponge). My brother lived near there and I knew a girl that graduated from TSHS.
Nothing unique.
Jr High: Puppies ....OK that may be unique.
HS: Huskies
College: Vikings, Mountaineers, Beavers.

You mean like Auburn (Tiger/War Eagle), North Texas (Eagle/Mean Green), and Miami of Ohio (Redskin/Red Hawk)? (Ok, that last one was more of a cheat, but MoO U fans stubbornly cling to the old one...
My college mascot was the "Roadrunner"... Not "unique" but uncommon at least.

Undergrad was the IUP (Indiana U. Of PA) Indians...which used a black bear as their mark. This was at the start of the NCAA Indian mascot stuff. After I graduated they changed to 'Crimson Hawks' while still keeping an Indian statue in front of the field house.

I wonder if Eastern Michigan, Marquette, etc still cling to the old 'indian' names?

Just found out my daughter in laws was the Maroon Gulls. "We'll steal your french fries and poop on your head"
This is fun, I'll play

Grade School: Cougars - Mascot is a Cougar
High School: Shamrocks - Mascot is a Leprechaun
Undergrad: Hilltoppers (WKU) - Mascot is Big Red
Grad: Cardinals (UofL) - Mascot is Louie the Cardinal Bird

And before you ask "What's a Hilltopper?" and "What the @$#% is WKU's mascot?"... I have no clue :)

You went to Riverdale too?
My first year of t-ball (5&Under?) we were called the "Blasters" since my grandfather's sand blasting company sponsored us that year.

My high school's mascot was a Minuteman, but our nickname "Sandites" is the only one of it's kind in the world that I'm aware of. Our town's name is Sand Springs, hence Sandites. Like Israelites.
Elem: Raiders
Jr High: Raiders
HS: Red Devils
Undergrad: Jayhawks & Tigers
Grad: Tupac and Biggie
