He is going to veto a shutdown this fall, and it will be with malice.
Remember you heard it here first.

No problem with it at all. They close down every Friday at 3:20 anyway, how do we ever survive the weekends.
Non-essentials "workers" (read largest federal jobs program going) will stay home and still collect their checks, someone let me know when someone's missing any of them.

I expect this one will be different. We'll see.

Whoop, I missed the "going to veto" part., so when you say he'll do that with malice, for whom?
How does any POTUS veto a budget impasse?

Maybe he is figuring out that his party is not his friend.

Wow. If the government shuts down, how will I hear phrases like "Im sorry sir, we cant do that here" and "you'll need your original birth certificate--not a copy". I could care less if the government shuts down. Best I can tell, they are designed to be "closed" even when "open". Why wait for fall? Close the government and leave for a whirlwind trip to Europe.

I don't think it matters what they pass. I think Trump will shut it down just to exert control.

I'm reminded of the last shutdown, it affected taxpayers and things our money pays for like yours and such that were free to us, but it didn't hurt the folks in DC. You want a shutdown, send the folks in the house and Senate home without pay.

Actually, you need to send the unaccountable fat cat bureaucrats home without pay. The problem is that it's precisely those fat cat bureaucrats who get to decide who is essential and who is not, and guess who always comes up essential?

In a government shutdown doesn't like 85% of it remain open.
They can't even get "shut down" right.

He will force them to override his veto with a coalition of RINOs and Democrats.

Just one more thing Trump will have failed at, in his ill-fated, short term as POTUS.
Then after that, we can get rid of him. And good riddance!

Yep... go look at the State of Illinois. I don't think one of those state imbeciles has had their pay withheld yet.

Q: What crime was Donald J. Trump convicted of by the Republican Senate?
A: Refusing to sign a Democratic spending bill into law.
Lol.
