Been saying we should do this for a while. Hell at this point I'd be okay with doing the mac.
This would require our commissioner to be interested in more than their job preservation.
As much as people are mentioning it, might as well be the Sun Belt.
There is nothing the least bit exciting about those match ups. Same would be for CUSA and some other conference that we could line up

I care about rpi games. Don't care where the teams come from or how excited people get. Would another game against a swac team excite us more?
What conference is going to provide good RPI games. This matches up Mountain West with Missouri Valley. Those are good RPI matchups. Remember where CUSA has been ranked the past two years. A10 and American doesn't gain anything by playing CUSA.

Maybe a CUSA -SWAC shootout will match two relatively equal RPI conferences. 03-lmfao

Mac? Sun belt? Colonial? Maac?

None of those conferences are going to help RPI
How many games per school are usually played in such challenges? Since they are played during the OOC fall period of the season, it might be that C-USA could entice another conference to play with us if the number of games is not a problem. I doubt that all teams in any conference play only top RPI teams during the OOC period.

Yes they would compared to the crap we currently play.
It would be the same crap we currently play.

No it wouldn't. Go look at some statistics.

I disagree.

Northern Iowa hosting UNLV is interesting to me.

But yeah...the rest of it isn't very exciting.
We already play SWAC teams & Sun Belt teams.

No difference there.

Would have to be an A-10 matchup or something like that to increase the conference RPI.

You do realize we were far behind these conferences in rpi last year, correct?

I would much rather see us play uncw, Charleston, William&Mary, Akron, Ohio, pretty much the entire sun belt, etc. than another swac school.

I'll watch some of those match ups. I enjoy watching non power teams play.

It would have to be beneficial to both conferences. The A10 would laugh in CUSA's face. They do not benefit from a conference matchup
Maybe top 4 vs top 4. Fairly equal teams from any non power conference.
Top 4 from those leagues would be fighting for a good resume and top 50/100 wins help build it. leagues with top 4 teams residing in top 100 should be considered. Non conf RPI
