Mike Cook transferred to Pitt about a dozen years ago or so and I believe he ended up being one of their best players.

ECU ends up with some decent players but they can't keep them. Lebo has to go.

john fields transferred up to uncw in 2008

from a tournament standpoint greg alexanders move to mt st marys could look like an upgrade but that may be a stretch.

Lance tejada also transferred to Lehigh who has been to 5 ncaa tourneys and upset duke in their last visit

I guess any school that's made the tournament since 1992 is an upgrade.

Chris Kuppets transferred to Boise St. and I think they ended up having a pretty good squad

Gabe Blair transferred to Wichita State.

John Fields went to UNCW and then went on to Tennessee as a graduate transfer.

So moral of the story, even when we have gotten good players in here we can't keep them.

I would also say that you can go down a division and possibly transfer up over ECU.
