I think 2. South Alabama Louisiana Ga Southern Coastal and Arlington could get consideration. 1 of the 5 will likely win tourney. Right now If you go by RPI Louisiana and South seem to have the best case for an at-large. What may hurt South is a poor record vs top 50
Just one.
We get 10 in.

Wait...we're not talking about the SBC Tournament?
^ Or the SEC.
I have seen 2 projections now with 2 in
Links?
Warren Nolan and I m trying to remember the other one-- maybe Baseball America
With tonight's win Cajuns RPI up to 49.

Possible, but losing 5 of your last 6 in league hurts a lot.

I agree but was just updating. It would be really interesting if we hadn't played the series against St Peters who is winless as we"d probably be in the mid to upper 30's.

BTW, the good news for them is that they did not lose either of the DH yesterday against Albany. The bad news is that the DH was cancelled.
Just two series left and they are still completely winless. I think they are the only ones in D1 that are? I also wonder when somone else had a zero wins in a season.
Will get the regular season champ and the SBC Tournament champ in the playoffs unless that ends up being the same team. If that happens will only get one.

If southern wins out the regular season and gets to the SB CG, we would have a pretty good shot at an at large bid I would think. 40 wins and a nice win streak to end the season would look pretty good.
It's still going to be a one bid league. Team with the best resume against the top 50 is the Cajuns, but they still are one game under .500 against the top 100.

Everyone else is not good against the top 50.

If the Cajuns get in as an at-large it won't be because of performance vs the top 50 it will be on your name and history. ULL is 9-7 vs Top 50 which is ok GS is 5-3 which is ok and everyone else has a losing record vs the top 50 and that alone probably means we are a one bid league.
Well, I said it was a one bid league.

But if i'm wrong, history will have nothing to do with it.

Are the at-large bids determined by computers or humans? Humans are biased and that's where history and name comes into play.

We are 5-3 against the top 50.
10-8 against the top 100.

4 of the 8 losses to the top-100 and two of the tree top-50 losses are back before April.

But you've only played 2 top 50 games outside of conference. For contrast USA played 13.
The overall Conference RPI is up to 9 now, which is as good as it has been since since 2013 (based on final conf RPI's, so we'll see where it ends up.) Earlier in the season it was at 11. Last year, SBC was 10. Still not quite where many expected but at least it's improving
