How can there be ONLY positives with a program that is in such shambles (I mean there are some on here who don't even think it's in shambles). Fans don't need to agree with everything going on in a program. You want a positive outta me? At least we won't lack depth next year . . . There you go, a positive from me.

There are some here that all I ever see is negative and bitter. Speaking of what qualifies as a fan or not.......I am very certain that attending games since 1977 and me pretending to be Keith Lee and Andre Turner in my backyard basketball court more than qualifies as a fan. I disagreed from my seat and on the radio countless times about both Tic Price and Josh Pastner. The fact that I'm choosing to not criticize Tubby at this time is to me the prudent thing to do. When he's not winning and not recruiting well, I will have plenty to say.

This is the repeat I was talking about.

Isn't everyone here pretty much the same, just back to their original screen names, instead of their aliases?
Hoopdreams and Saluki were/are valuable contributors to the board. Like what they had to say or not, they did/do their homework. Hoopdreams has a tendency to probably be a little too eager to respond in kind to those who dismissed his posts out of hand as having an agenda, etc... But generally if you don't/didn't agree with either of those guys, they at least give you some food for thought.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯
The Recruiting Forum was much better when our recruiting was much better. That's not the fault of the members of this board.

E'wood had insight based on connections and experience.

People agreed/disagreed got engaged in the action. Fiery stuff happened.
You need fuel for fire. Spontaneous combustion is rare.

There was propaganda being spewed constantly over and over again...We were getting retweets from twitter and half the facts presented as the be all end all.

Don't forget the ones who need a little Jack to deal with this forum.

When he is not winning and not recruiting well... so it has to be both? He is certainly not recruiting well, and the winning is certainly questionable. 19 wins with a schedule built for a 25 win season might be winning to some.
Keith will be back very shortly. Talked to him today. He misses y'all.

And you'd prefer nothing? The best thing to do is put the posters you don't like on ignore. I have been advised of this myself...and it does provide a nice break.

The only problem is, there's this feature here that you can actually have a poster solidly on ignore but elect to see a post of his. lmao

But other than that ignore works purty good.

What would you like to know?

Football and basketball recruiting information and discussion, with less stuff that is better posted in the People's Forum.

Some of the individuals in this thread don't fit what you are looking for.

Thanks for weighing in.
It really is amazing how sensitive some are to differing opinions. We are all Tiger fans.

So, you classify this as recruiting well? The only two times in the last 18 years we haven't signed a 4 or 5 star? The most juco players on a roster since 2003 Baylor? The recruiting rankings are based on the average of your top 4 signees, which places us in the low 60's on the composite score. That's not who we are and we had so many needs to fill.

Just curious, what would disappointing recruiting look like to you?

As far as winning, we ended the season with one of our worst finishes we've ever had. Yet somehow, this is apparently not on the coach.

Not a Pastner fan at all, but why the different expectations for a coach that is paid substantially more?

Furthermore, he clearly doesn't understand our history and has blamed our program for him recruiting about where he has for the last 15 years. I'm being serious, what has Tubby done so far that gives you hope?

Please, respond seriously, not just with some blast about me being negative or accusing me of being a Pastner lover. I want to here real opinions about where I am off.
I'm like Bench. I really really really hope we win next season.

Because I'm going to have a field day on some here. Early and often.

You guys love having this same damn argument day after day. I like the players we signed. If you want to act like Nickleberry and Johnson are garbage, something is wrong with you. I like the four juco players we have. What I was referring to is 2018 recruiting. If Tubby can't get Lomax I will not be pleased. However I think he will get him. Will you be pleased if Lomax signs with us? Or will you still *itch?
