Bridgewater's contract goes into 2018 due to the new collective bargaining agreement. So while the Vikings didn't use the 5th year option, he gains a 5th year anyway as long as he's on the PUP.

Also of note is that MINN singed Case Keenum in the off season. TH will have to earn a roster spot most likely in training camp. I kind of doubt they'll keep 3 QBs on the active roster if they view CK and TH as even. Also, if they have a poor season they could be in the mix for one of the QB blue chippers that are reported to be in the draft next year.
