Looks like Ohio State is on the list, in Columbus.

Matta will be on the hot seat this year.

OSU had a young team this year, just one graduating senior. This team will be on the rise next season following a 17-15 record this year.

They bring back most of their scoring to include Thompson, a 7' C. They also have a rising sophomore named Derek Funderburk, not sure if any relation to our Funderburk.

Nice game to have though we need some decent home games, not necessarily P5.

Doubtful. In my era, OSU had a player named Lawrence Funderburk. Without doing any research, I would guess there is some relation there.

Edit: Nope. I was completely wrong.

HU joins UCI at the Thanksgiving tourney in Vegas. Good field of majors. Tribe in a tourney? Probably too late for this year.

Ours has an e at the end of his name

I could be wrong, but this 8 team "tourney" looks to be two 4 team tourneys in which the majors are in one 4 team tourney, and the mid-majors are in the other 4 team tourney.

The word "segregation" comes to mind.
That's true. It does give 4 mid majors a shot at a big win or two. Hope springs eternal.

UCF was in the NIT final four, lost to champ TCU in semis.

They have a 7Ft plus sophomore, Taco.
A game in Central Florida... Could it be a nod to Matt Milon? Or, perhaps, the coaches know something about Schuyler that we do not.
That's a move in the right direction.

Me likes your thought process!
Louisville transfer, Jay Henderson, is, also, from there.

I wonder if we'll get a return trip next year. Or if URI will give us a return trip

I saw Taco play his first game after the NCAA cleared him early in his freshman season. Hard to judge him since the rest of the team wasn't used to having him on the court, but he is really tall in person. Davidson won the game.
OSU's 2 yr starting 6'5" PG Lyles announced had left team last month after being arrested this morning for public intoxication and punching police car. So, all of their Top 5 2015 recruit class are now gone. Projected starting five for next fall now goes 6'1", 6'2", 6'4", 6'7", and incoming 6'10" 316 lb C.

UCF has Tacko back, but loses 3 of their starting five.

OOC will have challenges, but certainly not Duke, Louisville and URI.

But OSU and UCF will have home court advantage and, even more crucial, home court officiating. (But I still always hope and root for wins in those games).

I saw him in the NIT semifinal game against TCU. He's not the threat yet he can be, still a little green. His height alone though causes the opposition to adjust, their shots, their rebounding position, etc. So he offers an early advantage. TCU eventually got a few fouls on him and played more physical down low.
Very remote possibility that Fall doesn't withdraw his name from the draft and return next year.
