I'm no stranger to EMU's dalliance with attendance figures, but I looked at the report for 2016.

EMU went from an average of 4,897 per game to 17,677.

Are we handing out band comps again or did we actually average 17k?

This would make us 4th in the MAC for attendance.

Akron 10,337
Ball State 7,789
BGSU 15,140
Buffalo 17,493
CMU 17,408
Kent 10,898
Miami 17,110
Northern Illinois 11,019
Ohio 21,190
Toledo 20,628
Western 23,838

Real as in 4real attendance and season ticket sales were up compared to previous years but we pepsied up the gap hopefully we use less and less of Pepsi monies as we move forward
So what do we think we actually averaged? I'd think it would be somewhere around the 10k mark.

Yeah, somewhere around there. The games that really had 15k or so were so fun to see.
With nice weather I'm thinking the Charlotte game could be a very big crowd.

Totes. The crowd was excellent in all the ones I attended.

Regardless how butts in the seats are counted - the trend is what we need. Hope we can maintain this fall.

Loud too, I had never hear Rynearson so loud in my 5 years of going to games (though the last couple I've only been able to go to a couple).
