We haven't stopped moving backwards in basketball since Cal left for Lexington. What's your point?

he only ever has one point:

Pastner is better than every other coach before or after
The worst stat:

Had Pastner Stayed:

PG: Charlie Moore
SG: Markel
SF: KJ
PF: Dedric
C: Nick Marshall

$$ left on contract: $6 million

Tubby:
PG: Jeremiah
SG: Markel
SF: KJ
PF: Dedric
C: Rychoeck

$$ left on contract: $12.6 million

So crystal ball tells you Marshall wouldn't have left to be with his girl and baby. I guess crystal ball tells you Moore would have stayed to be at the dumpster fire. Also he didn't follow Pastner to GaTech.

NCAA rules on LOIs are a pretty good crystal ball.

LOIs are with the school not with the coach...So he could have left just as easily with Pastner as coach as Tubby.

You probably need to educate yourself better on NCAA rules

Mashall gone - had nothing to do with coaches.
Charlie gone - had nothing to do with HEAD coaches.
You got the money wrong on Pastner.
There is no Tubby contract.

Not according to those who know.

Moore stays. Only decommitted after Pastner left. Clause was he could leave if Pastner wasn't HC at Memphis.

Money is right enough. $8 million for Josh.

Tubby has a contract. If he didn't he'd be canned right now. Memphis still owes $12.6 million.
We will rue the day.
Mark g said only 9 of the NCAA tournament coaches made more money than tubby did this year.

How about coaches that didn't make the NCAA tournament?

There is no NLI clause. Not allowed any longer. He petitioned to be released and he was - like 95% of guys who petition are. Most say he was gone as soon as Damon was outta here. He left because of Damon - not Pastner. Damon was out if Pastner stayed or left. Thus, Charlie was out.

You originally said $6M for Josh. You got it right the second time.

Tubby only has an oral contract. Could be contested if the powers that be wanted to.

This is a serious stretch to anyone who has watched the Tigers the last few years. Except nascar, penny - and you, I guess.

It's top 20 money. Last I looked, somewhere around 15ish. So 6ish more that didn't make the tourney?
Conditional NLIs were never actually "allowed."

Our admin blew this hire as about as badly as it could be done.
