Full Version: Possible All Northwest Final?

Oregon and Gonzaga have both already punched their tickets to the Final Four with wins over Kansas and Xavier, respectively. The other two semi-finals involve teams from the Southeast, which sets up Northwest vs. Southeast games next weekend no matter who wins today.

But with the Ducks and Zags on opposite sides, the almost inconceivable possibility of an all Northwest final looms.

Is this the weirdest NCAA Tournament in memory or what?

You could also end up with Florida-KY or South Carolina-Kentucky in an all SEC match. Or a South Carolina-North Carolina match.
I would call that quirky instead of weird.
Kentucky and North Carolina are still in the bracket.

Winner could very well be national champions.

Unless Oregon truly is on fire and can take it all. What a basketball school lol.
I'd prefer a "new champion" Lets go Pacific Northwest!!
Wouldn't be very good for ratings that's for sure.

Two Pacific Northwest vs. Atlantic Southeast Final Four match-ups.

One team guaranteed to make it's first ever championship appearance (Gonzaga or S Carolina).
It's the Donalds versus the Rams and the Gonzos versus the Cocks.
Either an all-Pacific NW (Gonzaga/Oregon) or North Carolina vs South Carolina title game would look really cool. A title game is extra special to me if intra-regional or even better two inseparable states.
