I like the fact that Dambrot the Akron coach who supposedly turned down USF for a five year guaranteed deal at Duquesne was also after him at both schools and this local kid chose Gregory and USF
Gregory certainly seems to be righting the ship rather quickly. Always tough to see how that will translate in on the field results given the amount of new faces but come year 2 the Bulls could be decent. Certainly appear to be heading in the right direction. Can everyone donate a small amount to ECU so they can finally move on from Lebo and get the rebuilding process started.

This. #ECU

ECU/Lebo just missed on Malik Osborne, a 2* who chose the Rice Owls over the ECU Pirates.

I like our chances with Carlton Bragg. He's an Ohio kid and could start at the 4 for a tournament team right away. The other schools he is considering are all still in rebuild mode with new-ish coaching staffs.
Updated USF Roster
I don't believe Gregory has anymore scholarships available for this year so not having a primary backup at PG will hurt. I do feel this team can be capable of winning 11-14 games barring major injuries which would sadly be a big jump from last year but a step in the right direction.

Starters
PG Stephan Jiggets RSr. (FDU) 6-1 205 lbs.
SG Troy Holston RJr. 6-4 200lbs.
SF Payton Banks RSr. (PSU) 6-6 225 lbs.
PF Tulio Da Silva RSo. 6-7 205lbs.
C Malik Martin RJr. (USC) 6-11 215lbs.

Bench
SG Terrence Samuel RSr. (PSU) 6-4 205 lbs.
SG David Collins Fr. 6-3 200lbs.
SF Justin Brown Fr. 6-6 200 lbs.
PF Alexis Yetna Fr. 6-8 205 lbs.
PF Isaiah Manderson Sr. 6-10 250lbs.
C Nikola Seckic Jr. (UNM) 7-1 250lbs.
PG Henry Beard So. 6-0 180lbs. (Walk-On)
SF Yito Alvarado RSo. 6-7 205lbs. (Walk-On)

Transfers sitting out 1 year
SG TJ Lang Sr. (Auburn) 6-7 210lbs.

Will Cronin go after Darius Bazley? He just put himself back on the market.

Impressive job by Gregory to rebuild the roster with experienced guys and quality freshman.
With the continued employment of Jeff Lebo as our head coach, we lose the last of our dignity. Granted, there wasn't much left.

You are allowed 13 scholarships, so he still has one left.
Not counting that one due to seniors leaving after this year he will have at least 4 to use next year.
I think if he finds a good JUCO pg he would offer

2017 guard Shakwon Barrett, of Grassroots Canada, just committed to Tulane, per a source.

Sounds like Michigan and Arky were on him.

Michigan Basketball Recruiting: Wolverines Will Host Shakwon Barrett

Michigan coaches will host lanky point guard Shakwon Barrett Friday, a 6-3 Canadian 2017 who spent some time at Findlay Prep in Henderson, Nev. before going back to Tech Academy in Toronto.
Barrett once compared his game to former OSU standout and current NBA product Mike Conley.
Barrett is planning visits to Arkansas and Tulane next week and potentially others, as well.
The Wolverines have one scholarship to offer in the 2017 class and are also in on five-star big man Mohamed Bamba and others.

Seems like Dunleavy is getting it done. Tulane I suspect will be much improved.
I think so too. Arkansas offered Shakwon Barrett a week ago.

I admire that we're trying. I don't think we're winning anything next season, though.

This was a big rebuild, and taking on project players tells me Dunleavy is not leaving any time soon.
Latest draft express mock has Semi going at #29 overall. Who knows what he is thinking.

Interesting to see Draft Express also had Sterling Brown going in the late 2nd.

Dunleavy's getting guys with nice measurables. I really like how the English kid plays the game. He's being very deliberate with his scholarships.
Mamoudou Diarra from Washington has signed with the Bearcats. Good get. UConn was after him too.
