Very cool then... But that means more of the current players on the roster will not be back next season. I suspect Jalyn Pennie and Tanveer Bhullar are probably gone. But even that would not give Weir enough scholarships for the 2017-18 class.

I imagine names will have to start hitting the VC transfer list soon, right? Not just NMSU, but all WAC schools. I search the list for coming or going GCU players every couple days. I know UTRGV is picking up a UTEP transfer. Can't say that I've noticed any other WAC related names on the transfer list, but I'm sure they are coming.

Weir is raising the bar for the rest of the WAC to keep up. NMSU is loading up with a lot of highly skilled players. Now, Weir just needs to bring in a good big man... or two... or three before Chuha graduates.

It looks like GCU did well by getting Alessandro Lever. I suspect now that GCU is tournament eligible Majerle will be trying to keep pace Weir in bringing in a higher level of talent.

Is Virtual Comits the best all-around recruiting site? If so, maybe we should form a thread with a conference link and see if a mod will pin it, for easy reference. ???

I'd like to have a pinned thread at the top of the forum with a few helpful links like recruitment, RPI, etc for MBB and maybe baseball, and other. Thoughts?

Verbal Commits is my go-to, but not sure if it is the best. Others might have different places they prefer for recruiting news/info.

Verbal Commits consolidates basketball recruiting info from various sources. I like the website. But like most good things, I'm waiting for a bigger sports site to buy them out and start charging verbal commits users.

I kind of thought so. I do know NMSU is recruiting him. I guess we'll see what happens.

Clearly Weir is still recruiting for 2017-18... Corey Davis, Chris Duarte, and now according to Verbal Commits, NMSU is interested in 6' 9" JUCO Vance Johnson. We will see what finally pans out in the coming months.
