There is no other way to say it, the ACC is being exposed in this year's NCAA tournament. All of the hype the league has gotten this season is been discredited. Not only are our teams losing, they are getting destroyed and along with it so is my bracket.

Our 12 point loss looks pretty good. Whoop!

The only team that was expected to get to the Sweet Sixteen and didn't is Florida State (a 3 seed). Let's hope the other three carry the banner.

The only team expected to make the Round of 32 that didn't is Miami (an 8 seed).

I think the selection committee saw us for what we were even when we didn't.

Playing against an ACC team is everyone's Super Bowl?

These things tend to by cyclic. Last year the conference was underrated. This year seems to be a bit overrated.

It reminds me of the 2010-11 Big East. Lot of hype for the league and wound up getting 11 teams into the Dance, but only two of them advanced to the Sweet 16.

Made this analogy on the Syracuse board about three weeks ago.

Blame Syracuse and Jim Boeheim for disturbing other ACC schools while still playing this Sunday. Can't they wait until NCAA tournament is over or at least until Monday?

Only UNC advanced and that was a robbery. Arkansas should have won that game had it not been for the officials. I thought at least 5 would advance to the Sweet 16 but this is embarrassing.

There were a bunch of bad calls/no-calls for both teams down the stretch. That ball was deflected and should have been Arkansas ball with a few ticks on the shot clock, but the no call was definitely a blocking foul on Arkansas, and Berry should have been at the line.

Besides, they had a wide open look and didn't hit it.

I looked at it again, the way they didn't call anything resulted in a travel, that also went uncalled. Just poor officiating all around.

I am just bitter that the ACC sucked this bad in the tourney. Not surprised by my team folding like a cheap hat. You are correct, Arkansas still had chances and failed to convert. I hope UNC wins it all since they are carrying the conference banner right now.

Many of the talking heads felt UNC's bracket was the toughest of the four to begin with. Now, it's the only one with all four top seeds still alive.

The Villanova bracket, by contrast, has #3 Baylor as the highest remaining seed, along with #4 Florida, #7 South Carolina and #8 Wisconsin.

Not really. The ACC was supposed to have 4 teams in the Sweet 16 and ended up with one, and that one came within inches of losing to a nothing special SEC team. Football wise, UNC's win was like 12-1 FSU beating a 8-3 Oklahoma State team 31-28 in overtime. At home.

Even if UNC wins it all, that will shower glory on UNC, but not the ACC, that ship has sunk.
