The only comment was that he was suspended from all basketball activities.

Only speculation but a day or so before his suspension an unnamed UT athlete was accused of sexual assault in a blade story. One could assume the two instances were related, but nothing to confirm.

And if the 2 things are NOT related, then one would think UT would have more clearly stated why Jon Jon was suspended (if, for example, it was a team rules violation or academic issue) so that Jon Jon didn't become unfairly implicated in the sexual assault incident...but--they've said nothing other than he was suspended.

If they are connected what a horrible way to put your stamp on your senior year.

Jonjon was a better defender and passer this yr but he had a poor shooting yr. Hopefully he didn't assault anyone. Not jumping to conclusions

The Blah article did say it was a 22 year old male student athlete. How old is JonJon? 22.

Based on the age I'd say it's gotta be a senior. And his twitter has gone silent.

If there is an accusation of sexual assault, then a police report had to be filed. If it was in the city, then one of the law enforcement agencies has it. A FOIA probably would be needed to get it, with the victims name redacted.
