I know I am!
And, to you basketball first fans, try to see the silver lining...you no longer have to discuss our seeding, tournament location, or unfair opponent/bracket draw. That will save all of us a lot of angst and needless threads in March!
I don't know why folks always seem to pit basketball first fans against the football first fans on here. It all goes back to the good ole days I guess.
I think it's just human nature. I personally don't have a strong desire to compare the two, but football and basketball are the 2 most followed sports we compete in.
Back in the day I remember being so glad when basketball was here to save us from our woes in football. Now it's the other way around.
I was a basketball first fan, but I have more fun at the football games even when we are winning in basketball and losing in football.
I grew up watching Keith Lee and Andre Turner, I don't think I was even aware that we had a football team back then.
It's only March nearly 6 months until the first game
I'm ready and excited about football season. Can hardly wait to get my season tickets. I love Coach Norvell. He reminds me of Cal in terms of taking Memphis football to the next level. Go Coach Norvell and Tigers!!
I cannot wait to see what Obinna & T. Carter can do on the football field. Norvell is a helluva recruiter!!

I will be there!
Hopefully we've made some improvement with our offensive line. They were horrible last season. Couldn't protect Riley Ferguson. I'd like to see David Moore get some playing time on the field. Dude has a serious arm. Go Tigers!

Can you imagine how good Riley could be with a great offensive line?

Unbelievably good
Cannot wait to see Ferguson and Miller rewrite every record in the book next season . Only one not reachable in two years will be career TD passes. Other than that Riley should own the all.

He is beyond unbelievable. Only negative thing is he will own almost every career passing record in just 2 years. Says a lot about the QBs that came before him.

Dang, I know. Paxton set the tone for the U of M to breed great collegiate quarterbacks...baby! Mike Norvell is the real deal
