Probably the worst I've ever seen the ladies play in ages. Lose 79-71 and Louisiana shot 90% in the forth quarter. You don't say this too often, but maybe we got outcoached tonight. Louisiana had their way at the basket. The Cajuns scored 49 points in the paint. They really didn't even attempt to shoot the ball outside. Just a little shuck and drive to the basket, and many times completely they weren't even challenged. Evidently had no answer how to stop the driving.

Trojans blew a ten point lead in the second quarter, The Cajuns called a timeout and made about a twelve point run to take the lead, and an eight point lead in the third quarter, and Coach Foley didn't call a timeout either time. The best team tonight won, and it wasn't even as close as the score was. Joe's still the best coach in the league and the state of Arkansas.
And I'd also wager a bet that he had a solution to stop their driving, but evidently they didn't want t o take charges, especially with that Patton tank going to the basket. You win some and you lose some, but it hurts to lose to a team that you beat by 17 on their own floor.

After scoring 49 in the paint, I think I head our play by play guy say they were 14 of 14 at the free throw line. That would be 63 of their 79 points. We got beat on the boards and only had three rebounds.

At the very least, Little Rock is in the WNIT. However, we've NEVER gone past the first round of the post-season WNIT.

I suspect whoever we draw, if they watch film of this game, we'll see a lot of driving to the hoop. Good thing that wasn't exposed early in the season.

I thought Troy was going to win it the way they are playing but I was shocked to see that UALR lost to USL.
Definitely outcoached. Never made an adjustment. Drove through the lane all night like we had defense whatsoever.

You guys never get past the first round of the WNIT because you rarely bid to host. Key to winning that tournament is playing at home. Trust us...we're experts on the WNIT :(

Before the game on Saturday, I didn't think it was appropriate to ask our AD if he put in a bid to host an NIT Game. Once ULL beat Texas State, I was really confident that we could get to the Final, but I was very concerned about playing Troy. Hopefully, Chasse did submit an WNIT bid to host. We should know soon enough.

Actually, we did host a 1st round postseason WNIT game back in 2009 against Murray State and we lost, 67-65.
Didn't we host one against Della Donna and Delaware?

That was the NCAA tournament that we hosted at the Jack

I do have to give your namesake some credit for getting that done.
