Great article. Sad in a way, but I do believe Toledo fans would return the favor if and when we make it.
We have lost a lot of fans.

i don't believe UT has lost fans, but they have moved out of the area, too far to attend games. Haven't done a good enough job creating new fans. The scandals(betting and Cross) really did some damage. For years, UT didn't keep pace with the Butlers, Xaviers, and Daytons.
Yeah I can agree to a lot of this.

I moved away but I attend when I can. At least one home game a year, and I always see UT @ NIU

All three are private institutions though....

Also, all three don't have D1 football.

Xavier doesnt even have football.

I believe all three coaches are paid much higher than Toledo's.

Being in a perceived better conference does and part of the reason that have higher visibility is a private school bias
In any case, the original question has been answered: not this year.

For sure. A lot them that were cheering on the Rockets the last time they were in the NCAA died years ago. 05-stirthepot
