Why do they think Rice will win by 11+ this go round? I think we win.

While I agree that the spread is way too high, not sure about the relevance of non-2017 games. But Rice barely escaped with wins both games this year (a 1 point win with a last second Evans bucket in OT and a blown 24 point 2nd half lead that Rice barely held on to) and I don't see why it won't be a close game again.

It's hard to win by double digits in the first round, but I assume the bonus is just due to how poorly USM performed statistically all season. Their kenpom is 325.

You should be thinking "Tub'o'Goo" who got you in this situation. If you give Sadler the time in Hattisburg after this year and the sanctions I think he can pull you out of the hole "Tub'o'Goo" put you in.

Truth be told I held on to this same opinion up until about midway through this season. It just got harder and harder to believe that three years out and we're still trudging through mess making simple mistakes. I'll give him one more year with the benefit of the doubt, the guys who transferred in and are sitting out till next season, and a new AD, though.
Rice up 35-33 w/ 1:00 to go...we are TERRIBLE at rebounding. TERRIBLE.
35-37 Rice at half. Terrible last 5 mins for USM. We were up 33-26 and didn't score a bucket until the last minute.
Another close game with Rice so far. Should be interesting down to the wire...
