...do you realize when we went 0-12 w/ E-loss we had Jamie Collins at DE and Khyri Thornton/Rakeem Nunez at DT.....how the hell did E-loss f*** that up????
Step 1: Inherit a team that won a conference championship and finished nationally ranked.

Step 2: Immediately tell them they're not worth a s*** because they weren't doing it right and change everything.

The sad part is, looking back, that it was pretty much what he was hired to do. The idiot(s) responsible simply failed to realize just how badly it could go.

Step 3: insert HS coach as OC, put HS QB from said HS coach's team as the starter, divide the team, have horrible game plans, rinse, repeat.

Step 4: Completely destroy the football program, lose fan support, and get fired after 1yr.

Step 5: Get people excited about basketball and hire Donnie Tyndall. Enjoy newfound/continued success as the wait to destroy another sports program begins.

What I wouldn't give for some of that talent on defense right now. They need it.
The more I see from players on that 2011 team, the more I realize how stacked we were. We had serious NFL talent, and it brought us a Championship. Gotta get back to that level.

Step 6: Collect millions and convince another SEC idiot to hire you for nearly a million more.

It really is amazing to see how bad we completely screwed the pooch with this hiring. We had NFL talent on defense and returned several pieces on offense. I was there and I still can't believe it happened
It was very hard to watch.
It was like watching someone drown and knowing you can't jump in to save them.

You are correct. But half the board wants to blame LF, saying he left the cupboard bare, all bc he talked the talk, wasnt 55+ years old, wasnt out of shape, wore a visor and sported gel in his hair.
