Looking at the numbers of the Rookie team, it seems to be a foregone conclusion that KJ will win Rookie of the Year.
Dumb question, but does a grad transfer count as a rookie?
Technically, the player would be new to the league.

I would guess not, as Rookie generally implies without experience. Instead of "all-newcomer" like it used to be.
Definition: Rookie: "a member of an athletic team in his or her first full season in that sport."
Okay - I couldn't tell who the UC guy was and wondered if it was the NCST grad.
Always glad to see Memphis players getting recognition. Congrats to them!

These recognitions are fine but they have not translated into a winning, successful season thus far. However, if we were to make some noise in the conference tourney, then...
Congrats to the guys.
I was hoping Markel would sneak into the 2nd team. I guess that late season slump knocked him out of contention.
Sure would be nice if he would regain form on Friday.
Odd that Cincy didn't have a player on the 1st team but Houston had 2.

Kelvin Sampson is one helluva coach.
Pfft.
Congrats to both.
I remember a comment someone made earlier in the year that we'd have 3 guys first team. Reality is a bear.
Interesting to look at the number of stars they each had coming out of HS:
Dedric - 4
Semi - 4
Dotson - 3
Gray - 3
Adams - 5

Maybe if Tubby had done some recruiting...
It is a well deserved honor.

You're right. I was using 247 and could have sworn it said 2-star. Probably a different Jalen Adams. 247 comp has him a 5-star too.

I don't remember who. May look it up tonight for kicks. I just recall someone saying we had 3 of the top 5 guys in the league.

I agree with you...
