New Mexico State will play Illinois in Chicago at the United Center to honor our Hall of Fame basketball coach, Lou Henson.

Thats really cool. Will be a fun game. How many Aggie fans make the trip?

I guess we will find out once the date is announced.

That's awesome. Rumor has been for the last year or so that GCU will be starting up a series with Illinois at some point, too. Mr. Colangelo is alumni.

NMSU is also supposed to be in the Diamond Head Classic next season and they have a road basketball game with Kentucky as part of our past football deal with UK (the year has yet to be determined). But who knows, that games could also become a reality next season?

Look for me there in Orange if that happens.

1. Miami - 20-10 - ACC
2. USC - 23-8 - PAC10
3. Akron - 24-7 - MAC
4. M.Tenn - 27-4 - CUSA
5. NMSU - 25-5 - WAC
6. Davidson - 15-14 - A-10
7. Utah State - 13-16 - MWC
8. Hawaii - 14-15 - Big West

I hope we open up with Akron or Middle Tennessee.

That would be fun. It's just sad that Utah State refuses to ever play NMSU in Las Cruces. They couldn't handle the rowdiness of the Panamaniacs.
