I don't believe that a MBB team from Middle Tennessee has ever broken in to the Top 25. Even as far back as the old UPI Poll (now Coach's Poll) don't think we ever sniffed the rankings. Confident that we have never been 26th in the AP Poll either. SAVORING IT!!!!!!!!

Congrats MTSU! Great for you all and the conference. I know how good it felt two years ago when ODU cracked it early, so to be ranked at the end of the season must be even better. You guys are a lock for the NCAAs in my opinion too. Now if we could just get the bottom half out of the 250+ range this conference could go places. I will be rooting hard for the raiders to knock off someone in the NCAAs again!
Great job, going to be really hard to say a ranked team isn't worthy of an at-large bid if you stumble in the tourney.
Been following the raiders since I arrived on campus in 1984. This calls for a Bordeaux & cleaning my HK....in other words, it's a good day.

Don't **** the bed in your first tournament game and y'all should have an at large bid as long as the committee isn't feeling frisky for a .500 SEC team.
Glad to see MTSU get their just rewards for the fine season they have had thus far. Hope we meet in the conference finals, get a last second win over MTSU this time like you guys got last year over ODU, and this time both teams make the tournament. Well done MTSU.

Nice work MTSU. Congrats! I have had you in the Top 25 in my poll for several weeks now, glad to see everyone else noticing too.
Hope we end up higher in that list...!
If by a big chance MT and UTEP play in the finals and MT loses I think MT has a good chance of making the tourney regardless of UTEP's regular season record. Solely because we were the only team to beat you guys in conference play. If we do it again it'll prove that UTEP is for real.
