Just an Idea for next Years, Basketball out of Conference Schedule - Sure it been set, so for fictitious fun. Would like to see - Belmont at Belmont, GA State at GA State - JAX State at UAB - Samford at UAB - Birmingham Southern at Birmingham Southern - Troy at Troy - Gulf Coast at the coast - One Big at the BJCC (BYU or such a equivalent School) Cal State Fullerton out their and South Alabama at the BJCC. And to substitute for the above if we can't get them, Mt. Saint Mary's, Creighton, Loyola, San Fran, Portland, and Pacific for a Story Line to UAB for Basketball interest to peak interest for Birmingham Basketball.

Just a Thought and Idea? Poll the fans who they would like to come see play and we will try to get them here for the fans of Birmingham Basketball. Do Realize Scheduling is difficult.
I'm all for playing Samford and Belmont. We played Jax State at home last year.
What good with polling the fans accomplish. It takes teams to make a schedule. If it was UAB alone who made the schedule, then yeah ask the fans.
Speaking of poling the fans, what has Mark been up to lately?

Thank You for asking - You Tell Me - My thought was to gage interest amongst the b-ham people which teams they would like to see us play in order to bring the most fans to the Southside to enjoy a game and a early dinner say at Dreamland and to the Game, or the local favorite spot, I'm not a good example , I have not been in B-ham for 15 years but do carry a vested interest in the good of the program and the city - Thanks again for asking. That's What I Meant.
Fans are going to say Kentucky, UNC Duke and Kansas. And other schools there is no hope of getting.
